A Telegram video player for Android phones
TMPlayer plays the videos already in your own Telegram chats on an Android phone or tablet, the moment you press play, while they are still arriving. Free, open source and unofficial.
What it does on a phone
The same account and the same APK as on a television; only the screen changes, built for one hand.
Stream without downloading first
A video starts within seconds and seeking jumps straight to the part you asked for, however large the file.
MKV and subtitles
MKV, MP4, HEVC, AV1 and more, with every audio track and subtitles from the file, from a file of your own or found online.
Picture in picture
Keep watching in a small window over your other apps, and lock the screen against stray touches.
Background audio and night mode
Lectures and talks keep playing with the screen off, and night mode keeps dialogue clear while the loud scenes stay quiet.
Made for a full phone
Download a whole season for the train, or turn on Low storage mode and keep only the part of a video you are watching.
Resume, series and search
Pick up where you stopped, see a show's episodes in order with skip intro, and search across all your chats at once.
On the phone
The app on a phone, filled with demo content.
Fonctionnera-t-il sur la vôtre ?
Oui
- Android phones and tablets on Android 8.0 or above.
- 32 bits comme 64 bits, avec un seul APK universel.
- The same APK runs on a television too: see TMPlayer on Android TV.
Non
- Pas de version pour iPhone ou iPad.
- Not on Google Play: the APK comes from GitHub, and the app tells you when a new version is out.
Mettez-lui une étoile si ça vous a aidé
An app that started on the television and grew a phone screen. If it plays your Telegram videos well, a star tells the next person it is worth a try.

Soutenir TMPlayer
